The Embassy of Bangladesh in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman is responsible for maintaining and strengthening bilateral relations between two brotherly countries.

The Embassy analyses and reports on various developments in Oman which are of interest to Bangladesh. With the focus on advancing foreign policy initiatives of the Government of Bangladesh, the Embassy actively engages with the host governments, their various institutions, the business community and the people at large to strengthen and deepen bilateral relations.

Promoting economic and commercial interest of Bangladesh, conducting public diplomacy through cultural programmes and activities are major areas of the Embassy’s activities.

Having a large number of Bangladeshi Expatriate here in Oman the embassy is always concerned and engaged with welfare of Bangladeshi people working in this country. It is also working to increase the labour market and saving the interest of the expatriates. Proving them consular, visa and passport related services, welfare related initiatives are also the most important priority activities of the Embassy.
